HELLO, shane aiden wynn
. WELCOME TO CHICAGO.
SPREADING DRAMA
THROUGH THE SPEAKERS.
FULL NAME: shane aiden wynn.
NICKNAMES: just shane.
BIRTH DATE AND AGE: september fourteenth, nineteen eighty-nine and twenty-one years old.
RELIGION: atheist.
SEXUALITY: heterosexual.
GRADE IN SCHOOL: college senior.
OCCUPATION: bartender.
PORTRAYED BY: ed westwick.
A LOSER CAN WIN
WHENEVER THEY WANT TO.
SHANE LOVES:
girls, drinking, energy drinks, sex, friends, seinfield, staying up, sleeping, mother, sister, baby brother, music, playing the drums and the guitar, acting stoned, driving around the city at night, being out at night, swearing every other word when it annoys people, annoying people, drawing blueprints, studying architecture, sitting around doing absolutely nothing.
SHANE HATES:
asked questions, ex girlfriends, thinking about his unknown father, thinking about the fact that his siblings have different fathers, anyone insulting his mother, anyone insulting any of his family, smoking, bad memories, being an alcoholic, disappointing his family, raw eggs, eating cereal in the morning, assuming things, hobos, ungrateful people, frigid bitches.
PERSONALITY:
crude -
shane's extremely crude. he doesn't care who you are, if he wants to say something he will say it no matter how inappropriate it is. he doesn't care if it's in front of the police, principals, possible employees, or anyone. he just doesn't care. the only time that he ever cares is when his mother, sister, or brother are in the room. he cares very much about that because he doesn't want to disrespect his mother or be a bad influence on his siblings (even though he already knows he is).
blunt -
he doesn't keep things hidden. he's harsh in that aspect as well because he doesn't "sugar coat" anything that he does or say. she says things as they are and let's the other person deal with the truth. because in his eyes it's better to know the truth than to be lied to.
inappropriate -
oh yes, he is. this goes along with him being crude. he makes inappropriate jokes at inappropriate times (for the most part) just to make people uncomfortable. it's really just what he's best at. he doesn't care whether people don't want him to, he does it anyways.
pessimistic -
he tends to look at the glass as half-empty. with all that went on in his life, he doesn't find it in him to ever really feel like good things will come after a terrible one. he understands that he got out of that life but it's not enough to change him in this aspect.
man whore -
he is one. without a doubt. when he's drunk, shane will sleep with any female who crosses his path and who is willing. don't worry, he won't rape you or anything but yes. that's just how he is so it is clear that he is heavily known for his one-night stands and flings. he has a few friends with benefits. actually, all of his girlfriends to this day was just for the sex. but it was ok because they both wanted it.
nice -
even though he's got a lot of bad in him, he is a nice guy. he's crude, inappropriate, pessimistic and blunt but he still can be a sweetheart. people don't often see it because it's hidden behind all the swearing but it's there. this is why, although he can be an asshole, he does have friends who see this.
nonchalant -
shane really doesn't take much serious. he tends to wave things off that are serious. he just doesn't do serious. if anything serious comes in his way, he gets really awkward and kind of feels like he fails at that situation.
caring -
although it's hard to believe, shane does hold the ability to care. but you have to be an extremely special person for him to do it. he mostly just cares about his mother, his sister, his brother, and his best friend. that's about it at the current time. everyone else, they're just people in his life.
SECRETS:
drinking -
everyone know that shane drinks more than he should, but what people don't know is that he started drinking at a really young age. like, before he could control it. it wasn't his fault he became an alcoholic but he sees it as one of his greatest faults that he couldn't stop it.
student-teacher relationship -
when he was in his senior year he had sex with the school counselor and then constantly made inappropriate jokes after that so that everyone suspected it but no one had proof that it was true.
FEARS:
death -
shane's biggest fear of all is death. no matter how he may act, how sure of himself he may be, or anything, he doesn't want to die. no one wants to die, but his is a larger fear than that. he wants his death to be simple. he just wants to die in his sleep because everything else would be wrong.
disappointment -
yet another thing you couldn't just see in him. but more than anything he hates to disappoint his mother, his sister, and his brother. family is life to him and so he hates doing things that will make them hate him. one of the reasons why he hates the fact that he's an alcoholic.
relationships -
the thought of getting too serious with a girl at this point in his life honestly scares him. he would never admit it but he doesn't like the thought. he knows that one day he wants to have a family and be there unlike the man who impregnated his mother, but he's worried that, with the way that he is, he won't be good enough for that.
GOALS:
house -
he just really wants to buy his mom a hugee house. after everything they went through in their life, in his eyes she deserves that plus so much more.
graduate -
yes, this goes for his mother too. he just wants to graduate and to have his mother be able to go "HEY, LOOK MY KID GRADUATED COLLEGE. BE JEALOUS, K THANKS".
he really only has those two goals. everything else he does he just lives day by day type deal.

OVERALL HISTORY:
shane aiden wynn was born on september fourteenth, nineteen eighty-nine nineteen to lisbeth genevieve wynn. lisbeth was sixteen years old when she had him and she still lived with her mother. as much as lisbeth wanted to get out there, she had no where else to go and therefore she needed to stay in the hands of her abusive mother. oh yes, her mother was abusive. from when lisbeth was a child till the day the woman died. she used to beat her so badly that, no matter the weather, lisbeth would always be found in a turtleneck shirt and jeans. she flinched whenever anyone got close to her in fear that they too would hurt her. her mother was an alcoholic, one of the worst alcoholic who spent days and nights with bottle after bottle of liquor. so at sixteen lisbeth gave birth to shane wynn. as happy as she was to have a child, it was clouded by the fact that she had to raise him in the home of her mother. but she did because there was no way around it.
it started when shane was four years old. because her mother forbid her from it, lisbeth was not allowed to ever take shane to a daycare center or anything of that sort. so shane would always stay with his grandmother. and when he was left alone with her, it was the worst because she would drink twice as much. she would drink bottle after bottle and make shane drink with her. she would fill his bottle with bear and give it to him to drink. and because he was young and was deeply afraid of her, he would drink it. every last drop. and there was never anything he could do about it. and when his mother found out, there was nothing she could do to stop it. all that lisbeth could do was try and go out as little as possible. when shane started school, it got easier. he would go to school and she would work. it was when shane was four that jasey rae was born as well.
the young baby was also left with her grandmother but the woman never did anything with her. she was very negligent with her but she never damaged her like she did shane. so he went to school and it was hard for him. he had a very low attention span. he would often disrupt class in trying to be funny and just trying to get a laugh out of everyone. and although teachers enjoyed his way of being, they didn't appreciate the constant disruption. but he was always very talented in math. they gave him any problem and he easily did it in his head. in everything else though he always seemed to be a step behind. it was a mix between the alcohol and just the fact that he never paid attention long enough to really understand everything. but he got through school all the same.
shane was fourteen when she finally died. even at fourteen he knew he hated her and he didn't shed a single tear for her. as a child he would shed tear after tear with his mother because he would always cry when she cried, but on that day, he didn't even lose one. even seeing his mother crying, it wasn't enough to make him want to cry. he had too much anger bubbling in him for that. because by then he was already an alcoholic. and he completely blamed it on her because she was to blame. that same year, lisbeth took her two children, fourteen year old shane and eleven year old jasey and moved them to chicago, illinois. she didn't have anything waiting there but, for the first time in her life, she wasn't tied down to one place and she took that chance to start a new life. a fresh start without the physical and emotional pain they were put through before.
so they continued with their lives. for once, they were ok. shane graduated high school. he wasn't at the top of his class or anything but he graduated and that was good enough for him. he did finish though good enough to get into the university of chicago where he still attends. he's in the architect program and is doing... good enough to pass. people don't actually understand how he gets through classes, but he does. he lives in his own apartment with his best friend but he still helps his mother with paying for their things. he's twenty-one years old and is no different than when he was fourteen. he still drinks and actually works as a bartender. on most days he just doesn't feel like he can stop drinking no matter how much he may wanting. to him, it's just another part of his life that he needs to deal with.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
there wasn't anything that johanna lisette kristoph loved more than the days that she taught at the elementary school as part of her schooling. she loved spending time with the children that had become a part of her and helping them in everything that they did. she knew that at that age, everything was important because it stuck to the children. and so having the chance to have such a strong influence on them was amazing to her. she adored them all like if they were hers because, in a way, they were. they spent several hours with her and their classmates. she became their parent for those hours and it was an amazing feeling to have. an amazing feeling that constantly made her wish for children of her own. but she was young and it wasn't the time. no matter how much she wanted it to be the time.
but for the next three weeks, johanna didn't have school and, because her kids didn't have school, she didn't have a class to teach. where most students would enjoy the time off, johanna didn't. she loved her classes far too much to ever really want to stop them. it made her feel both useless and kind of hollow as well. where jagger and jacqui loved to dance, they never had to stop. jericho and jayson never had to stop playing much. and yet she had to stop teaching. the only really great thing about her time off though was the fact that she spent most of it with eric, her husband. not that anyone knew yet, but he still was. during the three weeks away from school, johanna so far had been spending most of it at his house. she practically lived there and the decision to tell her family was becoming something she could accept. she had to tell them. it was haunting her that she hadn't. she knew her siblings would approve. they all liked eric, for the most part. they knew that after so long with him he would never hurt her. it was really only her parents she was truly worried about. mostly their father. her mother, as much as she would disapprove of how it was done, she would accept it and be happy for her. it was just his reaction she was worried about it.
during the weeks though she had also been volunteering at a local daycare center. although students had two or three weeks off, parents still had to work and therefore they needed to leave their kids somewhere. it was perfect for johanna. she went in whenever she could and got to take care of children. it was perfect for her. and so on that specific day, her morning had been spent there at the daycare center. she spent two hours there doing everything from helping a kid learn to read to playing duck, duck, goose with them. when the time came to leave she happily walked over to her husband's house and spent the rest of the time with him. the time was spent with them doing absolutely nothing but laying in bed together with the television, but it was those moments that she loved most. just him and her and nothing more. because it was all that she needed. considering she hadn't been home in two days though, johanna hesitantly pulled away from his arms. after kissing him goodbye (various different times as she gathered her things), she walked out of his house and onto the streets of new york.
it didn't take her long to walk to the subway station and soon she was walking the rest of the way to the kristoph home. unlike her brothers, she really preferred to walk everywhere. feeling awfully quiet, johanna stepped inside of the house, closing the door behind her in case jaelle was asleep. she walked to the bottom of the stairs and that's when she heard his voice. instantly she felt sick to her stomach. she wanted to vomit and she would have if she wasn't frozen to the spot. "if you're gonna keep dancing, at least do so properly," he growled. she knew something was wrong. it wasn't just the fact that she had taken a class on identifying abuse since she was becoming a teacher, but she knew it. to her knowledge, their father had never spoken to any of them like that. this was all wrong. and so johanna dropped her bag on the floor before running up the stairs. at the word dancing she knew exactly who he had been talking to. she passed her father walking down the stairs and kept running up. part of her told her to stop him but a much larger part told her that she needed to get upstairs. and so she bolted up and straight into her brother's room and she stopped dead as soon as her eyes landed on her brother lying on his bed. her jagger london kristoph.
tears filled her eyes as she slowly moved toward him. "jag..." she whispered because she hadn't really found her voice yet. she reached out to touch him but then pulled her hand back, knowing it would hurt him. she could see the blood on his forehead and there was no doubt in her mind that if he shed his clothes she would find worse things a long his body. "oh my god, jag. i'll be right back, don't move," she said quickly before running out of his room and into her bathroom. her hands were shaking badly so it took her a few tries to open the drawer. she took a deep breath before reaching in and grabbing the first aid kid she had. she grabbed towels, soaking one with water and the rest leaving them dry. she hurried back out and into her brother's room where she dropped everything on his bed. "let me see," she whispered, pulling at his shirt. she knew she didn't want to see but she had too. she also knew that after she had helped him she needed to get a phone. there was no way she was keeping this to herself. there was no fucking way that man would ever get away with hurting one of the people she loved most. there was no fucking way he would ever get away with hurting his son.
